Generating Leads with ASC+ in Meta Ads? Yes, it is possible. Advantage+ Shopping (ASC+) is a campaign available within the Meta Ads advertising system. It is an automated type of campaign, similar to Google Performance Max, dedicated mainly to e-commerce.

Think outside the box

Opinions on ASC+ are divided – it has its supporters and opponents. We decided to go beyond the scheme and test its effectiveness not only in the context of e-commerce, but also in a lead campaign. We implemented a campaign for one of our clients who was struggling with the challenge of scaling the campaign and staying within an acceptable CPL. We discovered that ASC+ is also an excellent tool for acquiring contacts. A good ASC+ configuration allowed us to increase the average weekly lead volume by 46%, while reducing the cost per lead by 9%.

How does it look from the technical side?

After all, the campaign can be optimized only for sales (i.e. the Purchase Pixel/API Meta event). But we can use the event to tag a lead form on a website. Thanks to this, the ASC+ campaign will treat filling out the form as a sale and will also do great in a lead campaign.
